The Maine Wedding Barn

When my good friends from college decided to get married, they knew they didn’t want the typical wedding presents.  They asked Brad to design and build them a timber framed barn to complement their c.1800 house in Maine.  Two days before the wedding ceremony we raised the frame with a few early wedding attendees and lots of help from the local community.  The day before the wedding, with lots of planning and coordination, we roofed the barn, and installed the flooring and most of the siding with more than 120 people helping.  And on the wedding day the couple was married in their new barn.   See http://www.bates.edu/x173247.xml#  for more photos.  Design by Uncarved Block.
